Ship of the Year

Every year, the KNVTS presents its Ship of the Year Award, at the Maritime Awards Gala. This prestigious award goes to a ship designed and (largely) completed in the Netherlands that stands out in technical innovation. A nomination is a wonderful compliment for the shipyard, employees, suppliers and client.

In 2022, the award went to Feadship and Royal van Lent for the superyacht Viva. The award winner excels for its energy-efficient hybrid propulsion system, striking curved glass construction and stylish, efficient design and use of materials.
