Lecture: Developments in the Northern maritime innovative ecosystem

Last year, knowledge and skills were combined within the maritime sector in the Northern Netherlands to make technological strides toward clean, “green” shipping and digitized shipbuilding. Guus van der Bles (Director of Development at Conoship International) explains the Green and Digital Maritime Innovation Ecosystem North Netherlands (GDMIEN-NL) project and recent developments.

In addition, Joan van den Akker (Naval Architect at Conoship International), a specialist in the field of Ship Based Carbon Capture, explains the possibilities to capture CO₂ on board ships.
