Application for KNVTS Maritime Students Awards open!
Last year, the KNVTS Maritime Students Awards were presented to the best graduates/passed exam candidates of the maritime courses at the university, college and MBO levels. The purpose of the award is to promote maritime education and continue to encourage students at maritime colleges to pursue marine engineering and innovative developments.
The KNVTS intends to approach this year’s award ceremony in the same way as last year. Then we were guests at the STC Group in Rotterdam. This year’s ceremony will take place at a yet to be determined training location in the northern Netherlands. The final location and time will follow as soon as possible.
Requirements
With regard to the awards to be presented, the graduation report must be a research project carried out by the student and written by the student. Graduation projects conducted by multiple students are not eligible and the award may not be divided among multiple reports and or multiple students. The final nomination is made by the training institute and the nominated candidate must graduate in the year 2023. Finally, award winners will be asked to write an article about their research for inclusion in the SWZ|Maritime magazine.
Application of candidates (by maritime training institutes at University, HBO and MBO level) can be made, until November 10, 2023, via e-mail address: secretariaat@knvts.nl
