Presentation of painting Canopée to Neptune Marine

In preparation for the Maritime Award Gala on Nov. 4 in Hilversum, the model of the flute ship symbolizing the “Ship of the Year Award” was picked up in Hardinxveld-Giesendam from the 2023 winner, Neptune Marine’s “Canopée.”

We did not leave the winner with an empty spot, because according to tradition, Mr. Benjamin Grefkens of Neptune Marine was presented with a painting of the ship by KNVTS representatives Ton Bos (chairman) and Cor van der Harst (treasurer).

Only a few more weeks to go and then this model will be awarded to one of the nominees. Who will it be: the RIJN of shipyard Kooiman in close cooperation with Van Oord, the GORINCHEM XII of Holland Shipyards or the SARISSA of Royal Huisman?

Experience it on Monday, November 4 during the Maritime Awards Gala 2024 in Studio 21 in Hilversum.
