KNVTS Beach Clean-Up
KNVTS Beach Clean-Up was a success
KNVTS Amsterdam Beach Clean-Up On the 10th of September KNVTS Amsterdam hosted its first beach clean-up in Zandvoort, and it was a huge success! We teamed up with Daan Strang of Target Earth Foundation, who shared his inspiring story with us and was our guide through the day. After a good cup of coffee and an introduction about the impact of plastic on the sea and the environment, our amazing group of 30 volunteers was ready to take action. Daan challenged us to collect 1 kilo per person, making it very clear that every bit counts. At the end of the morning, we collected 65,6 kilos of trash along the beach and the boulevard! We celebrated our success having lunch and spending the afternoon together, connecting and meeting new people with a similar green mindset. Thank you to the KNVTS members and the other volunteers who made this possible, see you all to the next KNVTS Amsterdam events!
